Ignorants are everywhere , so are lazy , illiterate assholes , but for some reason , I blame teachers and schools everywhere around the globe. You see , it's easier to have them pass ,

although I am of a mix of european blood , I was born , and raised in America .
I can't change that fact , and much less change the fact that there are so many idiots ,

The problem is that there are those fully capable of writing normal sentences, which i suspect most of these "u" people in reality can - and to be fair, even imo net speak belongs to the internet and you don't really have to be a doc in literature to post on VTK, either - i just dont want to have their failed attempt at coolness be the reason why anyone could think this website is a hidden teen scriptkiddy hideout.

We have many people from non englishspeaking countries and i'm more than glad that they take the effort to post on an english speaking website, so i'm really kinda annoyed by americans lazy enough posting stuff like " if bf wts 2leave u..."

O- K ..... never before have I seen something quite so funny, Sweet. I've got a few things on that lil speech :

1.Blood drinking does not make you a vamp, unless you really, and I mean REALLY, lust for it, or make it your perminent diet.
2. Souls are a very human idea, there's no proof for them, so why should vampires have one? This does not make me an athiest, but it makes me angry that when you're " turned ", you lose your 'soul' or 'self'. Maybe your 'human soul', but not all of it goes, personality does remain, just sense of feeling / emotions (all of your hormones are now dead - so no real love or adrenaline kicking things are gonna happen). Hence why the world appears more interesting, you're not distracted from yourself. Perhaps when the victim is on the cusp of death and they're tainted with this vamp blood, they are allowing another entity, yes, but only by blood, not by 'soul'. If you are sick, you remain who you are, unless by neurological reasons. People have different eating habits, but that does not change who they are. Being a murderer ( which the Thirst can make you want to be) is by choice, you can choose alternative ways e.g. donors etc.

I could be wrong on these scores, I'm just a newb to this site, but what I will say is that I don't believe in 'immortal vampires' in this day and age. Those belong kind of vampires belong to fiction and myth. What I read from the start of this forum pissed me off slightly, why didn't he say that those kind of vampires don't exist.

I do second what Cerridwen said: the mere act of drinking blood does not necessarily a Vampyre make. Vampyres such as myself have a physical need for blood. it is something we require like a diabetic requires insulin shots. For those of the Vampyric lines blood helps us requlate our moods, heal ,manage pain, and use our natural gifts. While a regular human may just get a bit stoned from the endorphines. If the former sounds like you, then perhaps you should explore a bit and see if Vampyre is a fit if not, well then we're still glad to have you as a friend and sometime donor, Sweetlust. Oh and Cerridwen, try not to take the origional post too seriously. He's known for his dark sense of humor. The response was completly a toungue in cheek commentary and by no mean represents the opinions of the Vamp community or its manangement. 😆
