access restrictions on other websites

Zitat von maestro am 27 November, 2005, 2359 UhrHave you ever wondered how a website can have a restricted access forum for adult jokes, but have information about vampirism (covering in most parts the ingestion of preferably human blood) publicly available for everyone to read?
It does appear that in this fiction saturated field of interest some people already see less danger to minors than in the evil field of adult jokes.
Indeed you can come to that conclusion by reading some articles about shielding from psychic draining over the internet or vamps causing other vamps to awaken where the only thing lacking for a bedtime story is the fairy princess with her shiny white horse. What i miss about those stories is the four headed monster called "reality".
There should be something like it coming up in the middle of the tale - sky high, bad breath and red glowing eyes, wearing a "stupidity is causing cancer" shirt - and devour the rotten hack alive while raping the princess with it's smelly white goo-covered tentacles until her legs fall off.Just to bring the reader back to what everyone who doesnt spend his entire life in a chatroom calls "real life".
Of course real life has a hard time to look convincingly real to people treated to the collected works by the inventor of the psychic vampire who inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula, but then that's why the tentacled avenger needs to come into play.Isn't there anyone left that sees no connection between 'teenage vamp support' and the blocking of other adult content from minors?
I mean that people from the only country 18 year olds can join the military and drive a million dollar tank but not get a damn beer can't see it is not my problem, but what about the rest?I for my part won't email my ID to people who cannot differentiate between an official document and an unsharp pic of my ass just to get access to some forum holding a collection of Vorsuc's really bad vampire jokes (TM) or the ultimate truth for 6 bucks a month - and neither should you.

Zitat von maestro am 6 Dezember, 2005, 1604 UhrHere, here.
Though in truth my jokes ARE worth paying for.
Part of it though isn't just the content, but the kudos that comes with being one of the paying elite, someone who takes the financial step of making it serious and not something you play at.
Fair play to 'em, hope they fill the void in their heart with the one in their wallet.
