I’d say fried banana peanut butter sandwiches had at least somewhat to do with Mr. Presley’s goodbye to the world, too. But what a most pleasant culinary way of suicide they are!

I was a big fan of kebap back when they were still sold for about 5 Marks, then they went up to 3-4 euros and i got pretty pissed. If one had told me they’d go down again to â‚¬1,50 i’d probably have laughed out loud, but today i’m rather worried about what crap they put in there to be able to offer them for next to nothing.
I wouldn’t wonder if 50% of all kebap booths are money laundering machines these days.

The term “batcave” itself is pretty widely used for Batcave-era and similar music, as is the term “gothic metal” for Type O Negative and “gothic rock” for – if you want to put them and the word “rock” into one sentence – Lacrimosa.

What i mean is that all of these are, at least for me, subgenres of the larger genre of “gothic music” which i’d define as music goths like to listen to

I agree with kebap beeing great, but in times when everyone got ripped off by an arabic car dealer at least once, people like to settle to food coming from a friendly neighbour they know and trust and preferably were at least several times at war with – it just makes the food taste that more like coming from the heart.

Well, mind how no industrial band ever claims to be gothic.

I’m uncertain if “gothic” as you define it would have survived for so long if the line was drawn strictly at batcave. Of course many of the tradgoths have the opinion that everyone else doesn’t really belong on the party and should be kicked out – but that would leave three very lonely tradgoths and two illegal immigrants mopping around their feet, nothing anyone would open a club for.

I also wouldn’t say EBM and stuff literally put “new blood” into gothic, since many of the techno people are actually older than the available tradgoths, but i think it’s at least partly due to the other new style elements that gothic didn’t vanish into oblivion. Without new people the tradgoths who really saw the batcave time would have moved elsewhere now just to not have to talk to each other only for decades.

Which also brings me to the different topic of how high the “recruiting factor” of goth parties is

Belgian beer rocks, i like Judas and Satan which are the most famous belgian beers here, probably just because of the name – and who also nicely extinguish the fire of chili beer in that 130 beers bar i sometimes end up in. Never drank Jupiler though, so that’s planned for next thursday.

Don’t buy any books.

Books on the topic of “real vampirism” are mostly written by media whores trying to make a quick buck, to “speak for the community” and to be invited to third class radio interviews just because of the free coffee.

You wouldn’t trust your picture of the world to someone who voluntarily works (if at all) only shortly before halloween as some kind of wierdo exhibit for very local main stream media, would you?

Spend your bucks on this instead, it’s at least a worthwhile read.

As i mentioned we only own the rights to the “VTK- ” galleries, which are the pictures we made ourselves. The rest are feature galleries we showcase to promote select individuals, but i fear we don’t have rights to give them away.

Anyway, in the description of those feature galleries is always a web address you can reach those models under, so maybe just drop them a line and ask if you can use their pictures 😉
Or use pictures of every gallery that has ” VTK – ” written in front of the girl’s name.
