I do do recommend that series. Its the southern vampire mysteries, their also collectively known as the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Any way the first one is called Dead Until Dark and they are by Charlaine Harris.

I must admit, I’ve read the books. They’re not my favorite but I’m always curious about the differences in the way people portray vampires. The new moon trailer does look like they actually spent money on effects, not that it’s too hard to do better than the first one.

I’ll mostly likely pass though and go back to reading my Southern Vampire Mysteries. I really hope they make the second season of True Blood, and sooner rather than later. 😀

I’m not so shocked McCain picked a woman VP. Really it’s an obvious move as he is trying to lock in all the dispirited hillary voters. I’m more surprised at the woman he picked. The govenor of Alaska, which no one out side of the state has really even heard. And, she is younger and has less experience than Obama. It just makes me wonder if the mccain campaign has any ide whatsoever what it is doing. On a related note, all this non sense on the possible vp’s daughter, comp,etely ridiculous and irrelevant to the campaign. While i think the girl is a complete idiot, I don’t see how a teenagers unthinking actions have anything to do with mccains politics. That’s the nature of American politics though i guess, bring up comepletely irrelevant personal isses to smear the candidates.

Not much happening here. Seems to be a trend. I’m home for the summer from university. I am employed now. Nothing special, just an hourly job to put some cash in my pocket. It’ not the inages themselves I have a problem with, more the motive for using them. It’s all scare tatics so coerise the gulllible into beliveing whatever spoon fed garbage you want them to believe. I’m not saying that every one who uses a graphic image is guilty of this, but the vast majority probably. The people with the abortion protest, I have another issue with entirely. They did it to ‘open up an open discussionbut it was really nothing more than trying to make everyone sho was pro choiec feel guilty about it. The debate was very one sided and they (protesters) wouldnt even answer any questions but instead differed them with questions of their own.
