I live in a beautiful town, waterfalls, mountians, far away from city life... and a bit on the relaxed side of life most of the time but this week has been a challenge !
since gustav hit the coast.... we have been facing a gas shortage, people totally freaked on the first day and ran the gas stations dry.
so since then its a mass run on any place that has gas effecivly running out everyone within 2 hours of where I am .. and some price gouging has happened..
there are fist fights, guns drawn and stolen gas all around.... but my sister in florida has no problem getting gas.. * shakes head... Its rather humerous to watch people scramble * If I wasnt in the middle of it ..lol
so on one hand, while seeing pumps covered with bags is rather strange.. perhaps getting a day off work if I cant get there is a force higher than me telling me I need a day off, is ok too.. 😛
if people here would just calm down .... * sigh things would work out quickly.. but until then , its a pain in the arse..
