Tied to this world by a promise….

Tied to this world by my own foolishness….
Tied to this world by something that is no longer there….
Tied down to this world for no reason….
Tied to this world in life that I despise….
Tied down and ready to die….
I have already promised someone that I will not take my own life….

No, Vix, I can’t. However, that is the reason I can’t break it. I made the vow and the promise and no matter how much I regret it, I’ll always stick to it.That is one good and bad quality about me. I’m loyal to the end. Sometimes I curse my self for being so loyal and other times I take pride in it. Right now, I just want to run and to leave, but I couldn’t do that because I’m too loyal. I can’t just leave the person with no answers, but neither will I have to give a reason why I’m breaking the promise. Thank you all for your words. I do appreciate them.

Why wouldn’t you give a reason? It is the same as leaving without any answers just that you are there to question but won’t answer.
