You deserve it… each bit, each length of the tooth
And claw but still you don’t understand….

Might I suggest a spell check dear Vicious. I dont mean to pick your poem apart as I love your work. But, such a glaring discrepency screams at me.

Rends instead of rents.

While it’s a small technicality I understand where you are coming from, also on a side note:

‘Rent’ is a slang term from Australia, within our language ( which it is classified as it has several hundred variables from true “English” and “American”. )
