Why do people start really stupid ass rumors?!! And why the hell do people ask you if they are true and then start telling everyone that they are true and that you told them they were AND YOU TOLD THEM THEY WERE NOT TRUE!! They think it’s so funny when a rumor starts about you but as soon as one is started about them they freak! Why are people that fucking dumb to start rumors when they should know one will be started about them in return?!!

Some advice dear… learn to use it to your benefit. There are many ways. People can only know what you let them know, and rumors are like myths… they are based somewhere in fact. Dont let it bother you, but use it to your advantage, as to weed out those you find dont really care for you.

What was the rumors about?

I have never been the target of a Rumor because they where mostly true.
In any event. If something like that pops up consider the source and then laugh it off as the week minded fail to separate fact from fiction.

Sun has a point in that when somebody close to you (or who you view as a friend) starts a rumor you have to consider their motives and assume them to be hostile in their intents towards you.
Best give them the finger and send them on their way.

My ex boyfriend told the biggest gossiper in our school that me and him had had sex and that i masterbated with Jones bottles. I couldn’t get anyone to not believe the jones bottle thing cause the sex part was true. They all assumed that if one thing was true they both were. It pissed me off! That was the worst rumor that has ever been started about me. And all the people i cared about weren’t in it. They all wanted to help me kick my ex’s ass. I got a freaking email from someone at school (my ex’s freshmen… even more imcriminating) with a picture of a jones can and a message that said “Use this yet?”

I just went to the principle and told him and they both got referals, I don’t know how much trouble my ex got in… but my mom saw him at a store once a while after and chewed his ass 😛

But seriously though why the hell do people start these stupid ass fucking rumors? What the hell is the point to do that?

Zek’s right, youll only fuel it by reacting in defense, either ignore it or make sure everyone knows in what a mess he will get himself by fucking with you.
Just be even more hardcore in gossiping – invent stuff, but don’t let it be obvious – sooner or later the whole thing is bound to become rediculous as a whole and that’s when people already forgot what was said in the beginning.
