RIP Robert Moog, pioneer of synthesizers

Zitat von maestro am 5 November, 2005, 1349 UhrUnfortunately Robert Moog (1934-2005) went from us. Beeing the first one to make sythesizer tech kinda affordable (with the first unit shipping at $10000)) and portable at the same time he was basically one of the founders of electronic music. Spending his life as a scientist to develop even better instruments while having and open ear to the musicians' views of things he had a great impact on music without many people knowing about it.
wired.com has a detailed tribute to the man that brought us the sounds of VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Kraftwerk and any other electro-band
