I was typing along one day when it occured to me.
Post Wars.
What were these?
How do they work?
Why do people do them?
Most guess it’s boredom, an escape from the mundane posting into something exciting and fun that expresses your intellectual wit.
It doesn’t do any of that. If anything it’s a predatorial instinct to show off your typing skills and your meanest behaviour. Like a dog pissing on a tree.
Where am I going with this? Good question.
I’m hoping to start one.
What’s my aim?
I have none, thus there’s no disappointment involved if it doesn’t start.
Shouldn’t be that hard. I mean, hell. It was easy to start the war on terror no?
Why not a Post war?
Post anything mundane. If there’s a reply on the board straight after you, get ot it as quick as you can and post back. Anything is usually the go but the main aim ( Not the personal one) is to prove you have the fastest mind (or at least a HELL OF ALOT OF FREE TIME) on the board or at least the quickest hands.
Warning : May cause sensations of loss. Be warned that someone will be a smart-ass and most likely it will come down to two people. Just watch. It’s usually hiliarious…..
