In reading Vixen’s poetic postings and finding it very well liked I am posting this in responce as nothing i could say about it would do more justice than similar words, thou in this case I would think them dis-similar ….For you vixen I hope you enjoy it
For so much as I am,
time has taught me little of life’s happiness and much of the worlds plight
Can so much weight be measured next to one man
Atlas,
titian who bears the burden of the world upon his shoulders
Ironic how we choose a figment to hold our universe
In so far as this, no mortal can shoulder it thusly,
All who have tried
have been crushed beneath its mass
Were I but atlas,
thou bent with strain I would stand fast, firm in my attempt
For shame, I am no figment, as I am buckled under the amorphous weight
Were I but atlas;
perhaps then I might know more of life’s happiness
