Yesterday my buddies and me decided that we couldnt leave the location before the DJ hadn’t played at least one version of Project Pitchfork’s “Timekiller”, which in earlier times belonged so much to any party that you neednt worry about spamming the requests list as they would play it in any case.

This made me wonder what other party classics are unthinkable to be left out at a goth party?

My list would be:

– Das Ich – Destillat (VNV remix of course)
– At least three other VNV Nation songs from the list of [ “Honour”, “Solitary”, “Darkangel”, “Legion”, “Standing” and Joy”]
– Apoptygma Berzerk’s “Starsign”, “Eclipse” and the everlasting “Kathy’s Song”
– Suicide Commando – Hellraiser
– and to not sound like a total bleepwhore: Sisters of Mercy – More

I know it is not a “power hit list” but they all have an specific appeal to me and that is all that counts 8)

Hey just because I like Heavy Metal doesnt mean Im not a goth. Where I am Metalheads and goths are one and the same for the most part, so I stick with the goths because I dress and feel like Im one of them because metalheads are for the most part a stupid lot here in Washington.

Add in the entire Turn Loose the Swans album, brings back memories of High School (1st year)…. That album rocks, to this day.

I am still pondering my list of songs that cannot be left out, and would post these ponderings but since I am a weebit inebriated I ought to wait. 😉 Will return at a later time to this topic, if I remember in the morning. LMAO

You know what … no bands ever come here 🙁 .. but
I caught their act when they toured in my country …
I`d just like to thank Diary of Dreams for not being like all the other bands
out there who tour for the money.
For you guys to have come here means you really care about the fans. .. (there was about 30 people in the club)
