I don’t think she’s actually claimed it yet, but the net crawls with promos.

Well, a female president , is not the worst we could do…. I think what we have now is pretty bad….
but not to worry, I dont think our country is ready for a female pres… and even if it was it wouldn’t be her…
and I am prettty liberal !!!
Not a chance…
Firstly, she’s been getting herself on her soapbox in the run up to what everyone is assuming will be her running for the top job.
Unfortunately everytime she opens her mouth, she puts her foot in it. From demanding the vast waste of tax payers dollars instituting a senate investigation into how a 13 year old was able to unlock Grand Theft Auto using the Hot Coffee mod (the result of which, surprise is that the grandmother who bought a 17+ game for him is to blame, not Rockstar) resulting in the reclassification of the game from 17+ to 18+ to her OUTSTANDING comments on Martin Luther King day describing the senate as being run like a “plantation” to the majority black audience of Harlem’s Canaan Baptist Church.
10/10 for sensitivity and clear grasp of your audience there Hil.
She’s a fucking liability everytime she opens her mouth, but the problem is that the democrats don’t have any decent alternatives.
There’s Kerry, who’s so much of a non-entity it isn’t true or how about Ray “chocolate city” Nagin… can you really see the crucial Republican conservative vote switching to a black man promoting black dominance? Good luck with that in the south.
I worry, really worry about 2008… Bush isn’t the worst, fortunately the man’s an idiot bumbling his way through his term but he’s not malicious, cunning or devious…
Get someone like Rumsfeld in the president’s seat and the shit will REALLY hit the fan. He’d be a big hit with the redneck gun toting red vote, but there’s no strong blue candidates to win votes away.
The democrats can’t make clear decisive points on key topics…. take abortion, both sides toe the “I don’t have a stance” line, hoping not to alienate themselves from the Conservative vote who’ll stray from those for abortion, yet not wanting to shut out the Liberal vote by saying no.
What the country wants to see, is not necessarily the RIGHT choices, just clear HONEST choices and accountability when they get it wrong. No-one minds a politician holding up his hands and admiting a fuck up or that they’ve switched opinions, we just want to know we are getting the whole undiluted truth and that they will fight tooth and nail to defend the country, its principles and integrity.
I can’t bring to my mind a single person I feel that way about, Republican or Democrat.
well, V- your comments make a lot of sense… but politicians will never = honest on either side. I really think the dems have a right core ideals…… its just as you said getting the right person .
Its a sad affair no doubt, and a bit troublesome for 2008….
But, as I try to be independant…. I still lean more to the left… I just don’t have enough money, or make enough to be republician …
V-well put!
I have no problem with a woman Prez…..but most women with enough of a facist streak to want to get into politics to begin with, are f-r-e-a-k-y…..like “Hilly”
All I can say if if she lobbies in my area………..
My hottest sexual fantasy would be to get on the roof across from her with an M-60 and a megaphone: RUN BITCH……RUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The hardest part wouldn’t be to get it on the roof but off the beton base at the local national guard barracks 😉
Adding a “-” would sure make things easier a few tons 😀
Anyway, this whole discussion is useless, since we will see Christopher Walken taking command in 2008.
On the sun at least
