thanks for the comment about the webdesign, the jumping around lies in the nature of the program that manages the pages and content , it sends the information about the website (pictures and such) in pieces so the jumping around happens when the browser's got everything together and aligns it the way it's planned

Your interests are really manifold and i think some of our members share them :)

wouldn't weed out the dead accounts, you never know when an inactive user may become active again. It is more a case of getting the people who DO still rumage around here posting, OR finding some new folks to join who WILL be on the site 24/7 and post.

i *would* like to wake some inactives by deleting their accounts, but the very thing that pulls people to register is that with the number of "members" this site has it does appear large in contrast to sites with fewer people - and unfortunately for some reason people dont go to the website they like but to that website that has the most people already there :(

anyway i hope with some dedicated users and more forum posts we`ll reanimate this thing - other websites have their posts made up to 60% off staff posts - i hope it wont get so far here but it does seem people dont want to post to a topic that's dead for two months already

may be im just the weirdest, cuz im posting at a...yeah, 2 months old post. But since M... is really dedicated to the site, hope he answers. But no, its not a good idea to delete inactive accounts, cuz people always go back to the place of their crime, and sometimes it takes them time. Just talking 4 myself and trying to keep active my account, even though i'm really exited about the site and looking around at EVERYTHING, also srewing stuff and getting into places i have NO authority. But thats only the simplest me..always against ALL AUTHORITY. lol

we once had some wannabe hackers screwing up the admin system for 2 hours, so we installed a new security system - it responds with autobans now
THOSE were a pain in the ass, first and only ones to fuck things up here :wink:
