I was in the chat room one night and tried to log out and it would not let me. I waited 15mins and it still would not let me - this was about a week ago. Might be problem with a program - also have had logging out problems once in a while but I usually wait 5 or 10 mins and I am able to log out. Hope this helps.

And countess ... in the chatroom there is a /logout feature (some web browsers logout automatically ) but use the /logout anyway ...

I used the logout feature in the chat room that was the problem it would not log me out of the chat. Once I was finally able to get out I could not log off the site it took 10mins for me to get off the site and appox 15 mins to get out of the chat room via the chat room log out.
