Festival time

Havent posted anything interesting in a while. Fallen into the adult rut... school, work, sleep... so thought I would give a peek into my life... and talk about something cool, at least to me... LOL
it's that time again , the renaissance fair has come to town !
Last year was a blast , I came home with 3 very cool swords and some interesting stories and pics.. :wink:
I most often end up avoiding the kissing wench with her ultra permenant lipstick, and can immerse myself in another time.. one I feel perhaps more suited for. but this year might be a bit different.
Instead of the normal 8 that go.. we have 21 people on board and the day promises to be wonderful. I will post pictures of anything interesting... I might even take some of the scantaly dressed pirate women just for the guys here.. :twisted:
and if I am lucky enough to score a weapon of some sort.. will post those also.. :) here is the website.... and if anyone happens to be in Atlanta GA. on April 21st... look for me

Due to having several cities interconnected in the Ruhr Sprawl there are also several fairs around here. The most beautiful one is probably the yearly ren fair taking place in a park in Dortmund ( http://www.spectaculum.de/termine/dortmund/ ) where the stands and tents are scattered around a lake. Which is an awesome sight at night, when the water reflects the torches and candles from the other side of the lake. I really need to get a photo of that, looks like straight out of Robin Hood
Beeing my rivethead self, i don't dress up for it anyway, so sporting some SLR instead of an axe doesn't make it any worse than it is, anyway ;)
