We need a more active moderator for the chat room. I’m on all the time and I see a few people on, never more then 4 at a time 5 at a time though…
Ooooh yeah, Bruder! Hier spricht der einzig wahre Macho Man Randy Savage, direkt aus dem…

Unfortuantely our members are widely spread across the globe and we tend to chat more in the forums than in the chatroom.
The purpose of a chatroom moderator is to ensure that things run smoothely in the chatroom. As there is not much activity in the chatroom, there is not much need for a more active modirator. If you are aware of any abuse to members in the chatroom please inform the staff and we will deal with it accordingly. (screenies are usefull) …. (unless its by me 😈 )
Have fun in the chatroom people, its a really cool feature … whish I had mopre time to chat there 🙁
Maestro, would it be possable to have a chatroom log showing for instance
Necromancerza entered 12:50 gmt left 12:52 gmt …
Joe Black entered 12:53 gmt left 12:56 gmt ..
then people can get a feel of who they miss .. by how much and when those persons are more likely to be online?

Hey there and sorry for not being online lately.
We actually have such a function: when you enter the chatroom, a log of the last 2 minutes of activity is shown to you so you know where matters stand. But you get all the chatter and everything that happened.
I’m not sure if we can actually extend that period to say, half an hour, but there would be other concerns:
– Privacy (people could still open their own rooms for serious stuff, but how often do people feel totally secure to babble about everything once there is no one else around in the room?)
– You’d get bombed with 30 minutes of babble – all at once (and all for you. Once you happen to stumble into a lively conversation)
– Database size (no so much a concern, but when google send their bots they sometimes also kill the server without any other ressource hog around)
I see where you’re coming from, but isn’t that the same as the “who’s online” bar?
A bit more like a analysis stat that shows weekly chatroom activity.
But I have a solution for our hardcore chatroom junkies 🙂 .. why not just use this thread to log yourselves … example to follow:
13:00 – 13:30 GMT … no activity.
7:30 GMT …. Was in but no-one else here.
Joe, saw you online but guess you where gone, or not able to chat.
