Is the cheesy title of a new movie by the “Underworld” producers – this time it’s about werewolves and, according to their myspace page, the premise is
“Blood and Chocolate” stars Agnes Bruckner (“24”), Hugh Dancy (“Basic Instinct 2,”) and Olivier Martinez (“Taking Lives”) and is directed by German independent film director Katja von Garnier (“Bandits”). The story takes place in modern day Bucharest and tells the tale of nineteen year old Vivian Gandillon (Bruckner), who has spent her life on the run from the truth…. that she is a werewolf. When her affections for a visiting American artist threaten to expose her family’s secret society, she must choose between her love for an outsider and betraying the secret vows of her family.

What have i become 😕
Anyway, the whole thing with the dramatical fight between good and evil seems to have been buried under a heap of unnecessary emotional bull shit yet again. Or maybe i’m the only one finding stories like “couple falls in love but fate endagers their luck through letting one partner be something totally frigging stupid” rather dull after seeing like ten thousand variations of it?
So as there’s not even a leathered up Kate Beckinsale in sight later trailers better give some very good reasons for me to throw my eyes at the movie – and a dramatical voice telling about the woe of werewolves surely doesn’t cut it.
