Black Bridge

As I stood on the rail

Looking down at my trail

With my heart pumping

I jumped

It seemed forever my fall

Going into the water like a

cannonball

The current grabbed me a hold

That made me flip and fold

I went left then right

My body screamed at me in fright

It let me go

And be hold

I’m safe as can be

on the bank sitting on my knees

looking at what I can see

What my journey

Has lead me to be

It’s a good poem. It makes me think of failure, like trying something major and failing but the failure, no matter how it may seem at the time, is for the best.

I’m probably way off the mark but it’s still a nice poem and well written, good job dark

I’m sure this post ,,, has the potential to enrage a few poeple but so be it those that truly know me realise I have never had any tact.

Of all the poems posted on here by others I do belive this is the first one I have truly liked. Yesm I have a few suggestions but then again who would not and I am by far no expert. Nod to you dark and keep up with the writting.
