yes, yes , yes, gas is $4.00 a gallon here , and as the rest of the world laughs it is rather devestating for us.
have we been spoiled childen enjoying rich parents? or making some other country rich while consuming a resource that is not ours.. ?
my friends in other countries envy our LOW prices for petrol… Hmmm. maybe a message here ?
all I know know is my job is too far for a bike and also up a rather large mountian .. LOL
hmm wonder whats the answer??

Considering i am paying €1,50 /litre over here ( which in your dubious colonial measurements would mean $2,37/l or $8,98 a “gallon” ) it’s not so much that we laugh about rising fuel prices in the US as about your whining crybaby attitude towards it.

The rest of the world has been developing fuel efficient cars for several decades. The US went about strongarming oil possessing countries into cheaper deals and sending their youth into wars that have no purpose but insuring the further stability of the american gas supply. So those that will return from them can proceed wasting gallons in driving their Chevy Camaros to the next ice cream parlor while we pay a premium for gas to support the american way of life.

Everytime USN sends a carrier group near the ME theater our gas prices rise because of “geopolitical uncertainity” – because it just might park in front of Iran, or any other “evildoers”.

You think i’m worried about $4/gallon?

Oh hey guys. Think this could very quickly become by bitch tread.

We pay R10.21 per litre yup (Zar)
I`m just worried that I will not be able to get out of this country before the economy totally collapses. My Car takes about 41 liters (11 gallons?) Soi therefore a fillup costs me R426.81 ( $54.24) ( 34.36 EUR )
Might not look like much .. but as a 3rd world country (which the world has forced us to become) it is not every man/woman these day that can say “fill it up”.

Europe pays well above $8 a gallon but then they don’t drive pointless V8 trucks that get advertised as having an ‘impressive’ 12 mpg highway. Seriously, here anything that gets over 25 mpg is touted as ‘fuel efficient’, it is a fucking joke.

But then these mindless saps buy whatever CNN/ABC/FOX are shovelling. Like the fact it is the middle east to blame, when the US’ major importer of oil is a lot closer to home, over 40% comes from Canada.

I can honestly say I’ve no sympathy and am enjoying the whole mess rather muchly.

I thought this would start some shit.. 🙂 but I wasnt bitching about the price, I was commenting on Americas freak out on the price, compared to other countries.. LOL
face the rage somewhere else… I wasnt making a comparison … for christs sake I work at walmart…. I know all about poor… 😯
yes, blame my goverment but just because I live here dosent mean I agree with policies and procedures in place… Im sure you feel the same in your country ???
and I drive a honda… LOL

Not here in South Africa.
We are currently being eradicated in a slow but sure genocide which goes unpublished due to the fact that ……. well maby I should not rant here.
Oh and here in South Africa you can get gang raped at the tender age of 80 after having your cellphone and loose change get stolen from you. Another thing that might happen … this one is for all you guys out there … is you could be locked up overnight for being slightly over the legal limit in a cell filled with rapists and murderers, then get repeatedly gang raped during the night and your screams go unleaded by the station police. So by all means people , avoid this place at all costs.

Ps. Tourists are easy targets.
