For the upcoming festival season and to enhance our force’s overall capabilities we’re looking for

Concert Photographers

You have a DSLR (knowing what that means is part of the job description, so don’t ask) and rudimentary knowledge of how to operate it? Supply us with some of your stuff and we’ll see if we can get some photo pit action for you!

Embedded Journalists

You love festivals and concerts, have a broad grasp of scene-related music and could single out VNV Nation’s Ronan Harris in a group of long haired, thin ass, skirt wearing, glowstick wielding, robot dancing teenagers? hint.

That’s you? We’d need some writing samples of your stuff (nothing scientific) and would love to send you off to the best dark festivals you ever wanted to visit!

Coders

We occasionally need help with the website, so if you know any PHP or Java that’d be awesome! Tech people will join deployments if they want!

Wrong.
You have a basic memory of what happened at the concerts you went to, don’t you? And i know you can write straight sentences, even with a lot of extra punctuation 😉

Shots: As long as you don’t take them with a cellphone or another extra crappy device that has a goddamn shutter delay and makes them all blurry and shit, it should be ok (Pro Tip:There are a million examples of what’s needed in the galleries). Everything bridge-camera upwards should be fine. (If you have one, of course) Those have manual controls for important stuff – full auto mode sucks, i can show you how to set them up for concerts

ok, ok point taken.
and I will try to take it easy on the extra punctuation although admittedly it is very hard for me.
but my college professors agree with you that it is a rather bad habit that needs breaking … LOL
but hopefully you know anything I get thats not taken in a drunken stupor will come here first! I love posting strange things LOL
