Zitat von navre am 12 Januar, 2006, 0924 Uhr...Its one of those days and it seems I am in one of those moods.....so I wander to the forum in search of motivation and a reason to do something....so I thought I would post another poem,....trying to find one to post I found i lacked the motivation for what would seem such a simple task.....and so I chose this one,....Don't ask why I just settled on this one I hope you all enjoy it.....
Wandering through this world lost I’ve come to know these simple truths….
Love hurts and is often times unrequited
Yet man has an insatiable tolerance...
For pain
Often enough he stands before the hearth staring into the eyes of the fire
Admiring it from a distance wondering if he has the strength enough to survive its touch
It dances about in its own world unaware of the light and warmth it gives to those around it
At times the fire sparks and an ember lands upon the skin and for that brief instant when it touches him ,
He does not feel the pain that It inflicts,
Only the joy … for it has reached out to him and the fires touch alone causes him to beam with a brilliant light
He knows if he were to hold the fire close it would burn him … could he
Does he have what it takes to endure the pain that its touch will bring?
So now he sits content in watching it …he will wait for that day
…should it come that the fire might do more that cast an ember his way
He will sit here in ponderous thoughts of what be and what could be
Until that day …for he is patient …Is it love he sees staring back at him or is it mere fantasy ?
“Love†hurts and is often times unrequited….

Zitat von lady_demornay am 12 Januar, 2006, 1008 UhrNav`re, my sweet poet... that is so beautiful. If I were to be able to cry I would. That fire shall one day reach you and consume you, but then what of you shall you have left? It is sometimes better to tend the fire until it is strong, and then dance within it. Remain patient, my dear bard.
I believe that this is one of your best, and I send an ember to you. *small smile*
