Well I was debating on posting this,….cought between the idea of over posting / or perhaps what some would consider monopolizing this section of the forum, Are you guys tired of what seems like my endless stream of self adulation yet….well here is another…

I recently recived a Confermation letter from a publisher expressing intrest in publishing one of my poems in a book due for publication in the comming year. Just thought I’d drop a line and say woo the fuck whooooo….anyways heres the one they want to publish since i haven’t posted it yet…..thanks again

Oath
On bended knee he pledges his service.
For this weight he will now bear, thou not
alone.
A mighty cross he takes up, his share of
the burden.
His sword to her, her will his duty
Life times of devotion, this one no
different.
Born of the covenant, his life for hers.
In darkest corners he watches,

i rather have you filling the forum with your poetry than have the spooky kids overtake it with “woe is with me” poetry, yours sets standards that i’d love to see held up

what context will the poems be published in, not quite shure i understand the question..but as far as i have gathered from the letter they sent me, it is going to be a compilation work. or as they call it a coffee table book, meaning that there will be many diffrent poems by many diffrent authors, mine being only one of many. but still it seems to be a step in the right direction after spending some time in the last year solisiting publications….
