Christmas 05

Zitat von maestro am 14 Dezember, 2005, 1643 UhrObviously another year passed and we all stand again before the tough descision how to decorate our homes to celebrate commerce, the root of all progress in the world, this year.
However VTK wont leave you out in the cold:
This is the ultimate christmas thread - to share your ideas and maybe organize some last minute tidbits like the rest of us:There are dozen forms of christmas trees to be found.
Blacklighted UV christmas trees will give your aomic shelter the right industrial feel while the two purple christmas trees you set up in your front garden with a 2 metre VTK banner in between them show your affiliation to your most favourite gothic website :twisted:Of course you might go further than that ( while maintaining an old school look at the same time! ) by ordering an upside down christmas tree - or if you consider to spend your christmas holiday somewhere near an USB port - get the geek classic
If that's still not enough you might bring the fest to your neighbours (and considering how many watts you put into it, neighbouring states) if you follow a simple house lighting instruction video we made for you.
So what is your approach to a decent gothic christmas this year?

Zitat von lady_demornay am 16 Dezember, 2005, 0859 UhrUnfortunately (not for me though) I celebrate Yule, and actually a few friends and I usually run off and decorate the local trees in saved Samhain garlands (the silly bats and black sparkly garland), and we use black and purple ornaments... one time we felt generous so we set up a little Jack and Sally (and Zero) thingy under a tree... the people took it all down the next day. *grumble grumble*

Zitat von maestro am 16 Dezember, 2005, 1530 UhrSilver blue and purple are the colours of the day, white tree and black lights (though not enough, we should of bagged and saved more at halloween).
Will take a picture of the V family tree this week.
Going to be a little weird for me, Christmas is usually a time of family for me, but this year I won't get to see them, nor will I be spending a week out in my beloved City centre crawling from pub to bar to club on a week long bender celebrating Jesus' Birthday and the rampaging consumerism of a bearded bloke in red sponsored by Coca-Cola, my birthday and new year....
Looks to be a rather dry and sober affair so far, hence I'll be out this weekend buying cocktail ingredients..... breakfast cocktails are the best way to celebrate christmas.

Zitat von maestro am 17 Dezember, 2005, 0036 Uhrwomen are indeed detrimental to the way we guys used to celebrate christmas before they invaded our lives
i still remember the days when i went to the rock bar late christmas eve to grab myself some third class food and a seasonal beer-cherry juice mix and passed the time away with all other single folk

Zitat von lady_demornay am 18 Dezember, 2005, 0210 UhrYou poor, sad, chained down people... *snicker* I have been lucky enough not to have to worry about that... besides Yule falls on the 21st this year, thus I shall have the 25th to go scare the nice little holiday folk.
Alas, dearest maestro... women are not the bane of holiday festivities, commitment is. Once the chain is attached you go where she leads... *evil laughter* None shall chain me! None!!!
Muahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!
Happy holidays anyhoo...... 8)
