Ticon (Digital Structures – Sweden) grooves come from Filip MÃ¥rdberg and Fredrik Gilenholt. The story of their musical involvement dates back to 1991 when they found mutual interest for underground dance music. Around 1995, the new moniker Tripticon was born. Then in 1997, through a local contact, they released an album on Stockholm based Tsunami records. After the release was a hard period for them musically as they were getting tired with Tripticon and there was no obvious path to take. It wasnÂ’t until Malmoe based label Digital Structures contacted them in 1999 that things started to get clear. They went in for a studio session and out came the track ‘mona boneÂ’, which today is a classic Ticon track but more important, they had found the path they were looking for. After successful releases like ‘ass-tronautÂ’, ‘monkey businessÂ’, ‘rattlesnake lollipopÂ’, ‘lo mi hiÂ’ and ‘input, output, kaputÂ’ on lables like TIP World, Hadshot Haheizar, Transient rec, Dragonfly rec, Surround Sounds and of course Digital Structures, they earned a spot in the growing group of respected tranceproducers. Released in April 2001, their full length ‘rewindÂ’ received rave reviews. In addition to Ticon there is a lot of other music made in the studio; with New Disco Science Alliance they try to bridge over to a clubbier style of tech house; with Qlap, which is a project with Son Kite, main idea is to fuse the two groups to get something new. Then there is also a downbeat project without a name so far (although 2 tracks have been released under the Ticon name) and at last a new experiment which in lack of other definition must be called a pop project with a songwriter and a vocalist. It’s been a great journey from the first releases and landmark albums like “Rewind” and “Aero” to “Zero Six After” released in 2005. http://www.ticonmusic.com

Amanita (IOSIS Art Party – SEA) AKA Brian Parker. From the rain soaked environment of the North West and with a deep love for Psychedelic Trance this local dj, promoter, and producer has played up and down the West coast with a whoÂ’s who list of international talent such as Mark Farina, Atmos, Talamasca, Human Blue, Oforia, Shakta, Penta, Atomic Pulse, Wizzy Noise, Sun Control Species and Ticon at a variety of festivals, concerts and events. While having a deep respect for his psychedelic roots Amanita tends to focus now on the more tribal side of psychedelic.
Electric Mayhem (Sidetrakkt – Pittsburgh/PDX) is the founder of Sidetrakkt Productions, Dan introduced psytrance to Pittsburgh through his dj sets and as an organizer of 28 events over a five-year period. In July 2004 Dan relocated to the northwest and after a year and a half hiatus has recently begun organizing events in Portland. Known for his diverse selection of music, ranging from atmospheric downtempo to funky tribal progressive to intense full-on psychedelia to uplifting melodic psytrance, and everything in between, his sets are carefully crafted to reflect and enhance both the time of night and the energy on the dancefloor. After playing at many east coast festivals and events, including the World Electronic Music Festival in Toronto, Omni Dance Festival in New York, Maataa Mandaara in West Virginia, the Gaian Mind monthly in Philadelphia, and countless other events, Dan has begun to make his mark in the northwest, most notably playing at the Phoenix Festival in July. This will be his first Seattle appearance. http://www.sidetrakkt.com
Suspensions by:
Pure Cirkus started out as a Seattle based piercing/ suspension group called P.U.R.E. (people undergoing real experiences). Over the course of 3 years the group grew larger and larger as it began to perform shows both public and private, pulling together many talented performers who strived to push the limits of the human mind and body in an ancient art form that dates back to the oldest mummy found to date until it finally evolved into what is now PURE CIRKUS. As P.U.R.E entered into its 3rd year performing all over Seattle it spawned its own fire troupe, run by Xavier Frost and Jennifer Morgensen. Soon enough it began to take on all forms of entertainers such as jugglers, clowns and other creeds of artists that simply wanted to place that they could entertain and grow as a performer. So began Pure Cirkus. The group that began as a private get together of friends to create an inspiring personal experience born out of our primordial society has transformed into Pure Cirkus. A blend of clowns, fire, suspension/piercing, dancers, acrobats, musicians and artists from all over that have come together to build what we hope will be a long lasting cirkus that will come to entertain people for generations. http://www.purecirkus.com/
Airbrushing by:
Eric Nez (Seattle) The visionary mystic artist is merely a farmer of the soul, giving oneself healthy nutrients, environment, divine light and love, in order to grow ones fruit and share it with the universe. My art is both a chronicle and a stepping stone of my evolution of consciousness. Different worlds I’ve traveled to, powerful experiences, teachings from ascended masters, they all find a home in my work. Every painting that is offered up to the universal collective is a catalyst for transformation, Painting, was a gift given to me at an early age, my parents (an artist, and a lover of life) made sure I had plenty of tools to express myself, and work in the garden of my soul. The muses of yoga, plants, alchemy, magick, transpersonal psychology, intergalactic experiences, and the mystical all gather around my studio to whisper in my ear as I paint. My paintings are created with pencils, paint brush, airbrushes, sponges and hands. Influenced by the mystical, visionary experiences of life. This artist considers himself to be a seeker traveling the different realms translating and sharing his discoveries through the secret language of pictures. http://www.nez-art.com/
Yvette Tourangeau (Portland) drew on herself all the time as a child. The adults around her tried to break her of the habit but ultimately failed. Not only did she continue to doodle on herself, she began to draw on others as well. Eventually she grew up into an adult armed with two airbrushes, hypo-allergenic bodypaint, an air compressor, and a deep seated desire to paint the world one human at a time.
Sasha King (Seattle) is an airbrush artist originally from Phoenix, AZ. He’s been working in the medium for two years and is currently an apprentice at Darkhorse Tattoo. His goal is World Domination and he plans to achieve it through Art, playing music, causing trouble, and chillinÂ’ with the Homies.

Now living in Portland, Oregon he has done a little bit of everything from DJing, playing tabla, owning a record store, scratching, performing live and programming his own music, both alone and in his electro-live duo, the Obscure Project. His music draws from a well of diverse sounds and influences include classical Indian, psy-trance, trip-hop, breaks, d&b, progressive, hip-hop and ambient. He has played with and often opened for world class talent such as Tipper, the Disco Biscuits, Hallucinogen, Younger Brother, Eat Static, Infected Mushroom, Jim Hopkins of Electroliners, Shulman, Bluetech, Hive, and others. Taal Mala (SUB OSC, Dead By Dawn Soundsystem – East Vancouver, BC) Killing sound since ’97, Taal Mala is tearing up the dancefloors and doin’ it to ya in the earhole with warbling sub frequencies that have been known to rupture an internal organ or two. His music implicates a mashup of tweaky breakbeats with throbbing basslines, glitched out ragga vibes, turntablism, and complex riddim changes that will warp your perception of dancefloor music. Releases on his label SUB OSC (co-founded with Maximus) to come in ’06.
Sacrosanct (Seelie Court – SEA) Guided by locals such as Osiris Indriya, Lara S., Aaron Hoyle, WaaterMark, & Michael Manahan, Sacrosanct has developed his own distinct flavor of techy, atmospheric down to midtempo perfection. Inspired deeply into his groove by Seelie Court way back when, this illbient sleep/eat/breather saw connections form that paved the road (a very long, & thorough one) to this performance…One that will have you beach party sand slide dancing to utopian-grade secrets mimicking the breeze. A lot of patience comes with being a Seattle ? (whatever we are), and sustaining what has been built by our own hands can only be done by the ones who are still getting it done, & the ones whom are bless-ed enough to become a part of it. The dawn of a new era is approaching. It is about time that some good folks stood up, and put on their creation caps. It is time…Purple Party People, your tech support has arrived…
