Voices yelling in the night,
Two wrong-doers argue about who’s right.
No conclusion is ever drawn,
The Devil spreads confusion in a heart
who’s faith has gone.
Despicable actions from a soul
filled with Hate,
An act of desperation from a heart who’s lost its sense of Fate.
Cold blood runs through veins
made of ice,
A victim whose Addiction was
his only vice.
The Devil spreading deceit and Venom,
threatening to extinguish a life,
God stepping in boldly,
His voice filled with Light,
As He stares down the Devil,
And said,”Not Tonight”.
